FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)?
Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an evidence-based framework focused on improving quality of life and reducing behaviours of concern. Instead of "managing" behaviour, we seek to understand its function (what the person is trying to communicate) and modify environmental triggers while building new communication skills.
  • What does a Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA) involve?
An FBA is a comprehensive review that looks at when, where, and why behaviours of concern occur. Our qualified practitioners analyze environmental factors, sensory needs, triggers, and communication styles. We collect data and consult with support teams to identify patterns and find the root cause of the behaviour.
  • Are you a registered NDIS provider?
Yes! Pristine Care is a registered NDIS provider. We comply with all NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, including strict regulations surrounding the clinical assessment, reporting, and fading out of restrictive practices.
  • Which areas do you service?
Our qualified practitioners and support teams provide hands-on Positive Behaviour Support and community support services throughout Victoria (VIC), New South Wales (NSW), and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
  • How do I make a referral for behaviour support?
You can easily make a referral online by clicking the "Make Referral" button at the top of any page. Fill out the NDIS intake details on our referral page, and our coordination team will review the information and contact you within 24–48 hours.

The Best Customers Says About Our Action

"Our previous behaviour support plans felt generic and restrictive. The team at Pristine Care took the time to truly get to know my son, his triggers, and what he was trying to communicate. Their co-designed comprehensive plan changed everything. We've seen a massive reduction in challenging behaviours, and his confidence has soared."
Oliver James
Oliver James
Parent of NDIS Participant (Melbourne, VIC)
"Finding a behavior support practitioner who communicates well and understands NDIS reporting guidelines can be challenging. Pristine Care is incredibly responsive. Their interim plans are turned around quickly and NDIS panels are always managed seamlessly. They've been a brilliant partner for my clients."
Liam O'Connor
Liam O'Connor
NDIS Support Coordinator (Sydney, NSW)
"The hands-on training Pristine Care provided to our support team was outstanding. Instead of just handing over a document, their practitioners worked directly with our carers to teach them positive strategies. It's completely transformed the living environment for our daughter."
